Felisha Adams is an active member of the Navajo Nation from Iyanbito, NM. Her motivation is led by her passion to help improve the quality of life for our people and is deeply rooted in Diné principles of leadership and nation building.
Experience
Felisha's professional career began in 2004 to serve the community through business, culture, education, family, law and policy. Felisha has over 8 years working within the Navajo Nation, over 20 years of development and management experience, and over 4 years of legal experience. She has acquired a specialized knowledge of Navajo Law, including Navajo Nation Business Site Leasing (which she assisted in drafting), Navajo Business Opportunity Act, Navajo Business Procurement Act, Navajo Corporation Act, Navajo Preference in Employment Act, Navajo Sovereign Immunity Act, Ethics in Government Law, Sales Tax Act, and Local Governance Act. Ms. Adams has worked with a wide range of tribes and business types.

Education
Ms. Adams graduated from the University of New Mexico Law School with a Juris Doctor. She also graduated magna cum laude from Diné College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Tribal Economic Development.
